Connect in ChatGPT

1. Open ChatGPT Plugins and select Add → Add custom MCP server.
2. Enter MeetingChai as the name and https://meetingchai.com/api/chatgpt/mcp as the server URL.
3. Select OAuth. In Advanced OAuth settings, enter client ID meetingchai-chatgpt, leave the client secret blank, and use token authentication method none.
4. Select meetings:read for notes, meetings:record for recorder requests, or both. Add the selected scopes to Base scopes, one per line.
5. Review the permissions, create the plugin, and connect your own MeetingChai account.

Recording actions require approval for the exact meeting in MeetingChai. Sending Chai does not confirm admission or that recording has begun. Existing recording setup, participant consent and plan requirements apply.

Desktop plugin archive

In ChatGPT Plugins, select Add → Upload plugin archive. Portable cloud plugins open in the desktop app. Connect your MeetingChai account when prompted.
