How to use it
- Install the extension from the Chrome Web Store when the listing is approved.
- Open the extension popup.
- Sign in to your Chai account.
- Allow microphone permission when Chrome asks.
- Accept the privacy policy, confirm participant notice, and choose your AI-training setting.
- Press record, stop, wait for cloud upload, and optionally download an MP3.
Troubleshooting
- If recording does not start, check Chrome microphone permission for the extension.
- If cloud upload fails, keep Chrome open and sign in again so queued uploads can retry.
- If the MP3 does not download, check Chrome downloads and browser download permissions.
- If you do not want to keep a recording, use extension settings to delete cloud recordings and delete any downloaded MP3 from your device.
- To remove extension settings, revoke access, uninstall the extension, or clear Chrome extension data.
